It'll start next week and it is in response to the horrendous decision handed down from the Supreme Court and the striking down of Roe v. Wade. If you need to travel for a procedure those expenses will be reimbursed.
For employees and their dependents who are enrolled in our U.S. self-insured health plans, we are expanding the list of medical treatments that are eligible for travel expense reimbursement. With the multiple additions we are making, the list will now include cancer treatment, organ transplants at centers of excellence, reproductive healthcare, and hospital admissions for mental health conditions, within appropriate legal guidelines.
This step is fully consistent with our long-term, well-established approach to ensuring our benefits programs align and respond to the broad-ranging healthcare needs of our employees and their families. It will be effective July 1.
