They had hit two of our guys and one was up high. So I went to the mound the next inning and threw my hardest fastball right at the first batter. I had a hard fastball in HS but sadly not enough control. It sailed on me and went right at his head. He nearly got out of the way but the seam caught his lip and split it wide open.

I never retaliated again. I knew I didn't have the control to hit a guy in the ass so it was over for me. I couldn't live with myself if I had done major, life changing damage to another player over a game.
