I want to make more stuff that is useful for people, yet get paid for it. Like my deref.link site, for example. People who know about it find it rather useful, but I don't have the inclination to add more functionality to it. If I made a Patreon level to support my projects, I could add extra functionality to it gated behind being a supporter. Bulk operations, screenshot previews, etc. And that level could unlock other things on my other projects.

No, not avatars on ST. But conceptually, very similar things to that.
