... and it spent a half hour downloading firmware, and proceeded to be broken for ten minutes after that - I called them, thinking it was just *our* unit that futzed up, and as it turned out, they were updating the firmware for *everyone*.

Hilarious timing. Hopefully they fixed all of our annoyances (Lag times in the interface, heat issues - although unlikely that firmware could fix that, and the annoying must-call-Shaw-after-power-outage problem).
