Every other Monday I spend the morning volunteering at a United Way Help Center (think food pantry + a Home Goods)

The sad news is they've seen a significant uptick in the number of people coming into the pantry for food. People are struggling.
They've also seen a bunch of Ukrainian families come in and basically leave with an entire apartment worth of stuff, from furniture to clothing to an entire kitchen worth of things.
Anyway, a lot of the goods come from Amazon (think of all the returns people do). Literally pallets of home goods. I spend the majority of my time unpacking and shelving the stuff. Almost every pallet has at least one weird thing - like the box of 100 mauve chair covers (?).
Today's weird thing was a Brazilian butt surgery recovery pillow. It just made me laugh when I saw it and I'm sure it'll be gone next time I go in :)
