Rant—So fellow employee was sick Monday—came in for Tuesday for an all company meeting—coughing during meeting—came in sicker on Weds—had to tell them -- (edited)

to go home, but they were reluctant because they have no PTO—I arrange for them to be able to work from home—they go home, work an hour and don’t log out.
Tells entire office this morning, via TEAMS, they have COViD and “will let us know” when they can come back.
They are logged into something that we NEED them to logout of.
They say they can’t, because they magically now can’t log into their company laptop computer. I give them easy directions how to do it…radio silence.
I get IT up, who is based in Europe and get them to do it.
So furious—they had a COViD test, and was still coming in despite knowing the results—because they burned through their PTO on stupid shit…and we let employees go 24 hours, in the negative on PTO—
The whole office is going to get sick 🤕—the complete lack of judgement and personal accountability is fucking shocking.
So.Mad.
