part of being a Texan is that many come from poor families. if you want a college degree you enlist in the military. they will either get you the degree you want or the GI bill will when you get out. the women have 2 options: go to vocational school a year or 2 to get an LVN (and then go to school for whatever your dream career is) or to enlist and hope to be chosen for the defense language institute training. my most recent female relative to complete dli training specializes in Korean. I currently have an aunt who is doing the Northern Exposure thing is WA.
