Beaker - not to harsh your mellow, but you might want to talk with the palaeontologist about what to do when you find a fossil

Basically, collecting fossils without a permit is illegal in New Brunswick under the Heritage Conservation Act, and any fossil found is the property of the Crown, not the finder.

There's also a duty to report when you find something.
