Yes, EVs draw lots of attention. It's less common for me and my Tesla after 4 years because there are lots on the road here now, but -- (edited)

Some of the camp assistants who are of driving age are going to test drive it tomorrow and I gave a test drive to the mother of a fellow board member and she was in seventh heaven. She was going to buy one but had never driven one. The drive definitely confirmed her decision.

I've definitely stopped to talk to other EV owners. Stopped to talk to an owner of a Mach-E who'd had the car about a week and talked with a Rivian R1T owner two weeks ago and he also loves his car.

I've had briefer interactions with Taycan owners.

And it's basically a requirement that Tesla owners wave to each other when passing.
