I was pretty shocked at how fast my car charged from 12% to 100% at the EA in pgh. it was just over 50 minutes. I expected an hour at least. -- nm

Unless the battery chemistry supports it (lithium iron phosphate (lfp) batteries do), it's best to avoid charging to 100%. If you do charge that

The recommendation I see is run 20-80% unless you need the 80-100% to start a trip. I charge mine to 80% each night. EDIT: -- (edited)

Yeah, I only go to 100 if I specifically am going to need it that day.
