Unless the battery chemistry supports it (lithium iron phosphate (lfp) batteries do), it's best to avoid charging to 100%. If you do charge that

High, drive it down some immediately.

Also, fast charging is harder on the battery than overnight charging at home.

I don't know, off hand, what battery chemistry VE uses it even what type packs (cells, pouches, prismatics), but those all have an effect on recommended charging levels and speeds.

If you can't get VW's official word, check a owner forum and see what their experience is.
