The story of Raising Cane is kind of interesting one in that it was completely based on the idea he wanted a simple fast food place at LSU.

Another fascinating thing is that after they started down the franchise route, they realized it wasn’t great, and bought them all back.
They also have a very small menu. 6 items. Chicken fingers, Crinkle Cut Fries, Coleslaw, Texas Toast, Cane’s Sauce, and Soft Drinks.
