Point taken—but, The Bible and especially the New Testament have been re-written/reinterpreted, countless times

Hard to say what is original text—I’d wager Hell, and the idea of Hell, has been reinvented though to serve the purpose political purposes, and especially of guilt and buying your way into Heaven to avoid Hell
