There was some weak spots in this week’s Only Murders in the Building, but it ended *BIG*. (spoilers)

The scenes between Mabel and Theo were poorly executed. He should have some means of more easily communicating with her. And she should have been able to more easily communicate with him. She knows he only understands 1/3 of what she says and yet she doesn’t speak more slowly or enunciates more clearly. Half the time she’s looking away from him when she’s talk. And she has a whole cathartic experience while they’re in a car and he’s supposed to have his eyes on the road.
It doesn’t hurt the narrative. It’s just how it’s presented. Kept taking me out of the moment.
