I’m fine with the liberties they took with the original material. Makes it different but equally as good as the source material.
I say this knowing that I’ve lambasted Halo for the liberties they took. The difference is that Sandman created a beautiful product based on the source material while Halo just dumbed everything down because they knew they couldn’t pull it off on the budget they had.
