I haven't seen this site before but I do agree with them on some of their points. Of course, what's good for my city may not work as well

elsewhere.
I'm 100% in favor of removing parking minimums when building new housing. For us, we have less than half of the people with cars and a robust public transit system. We want to discourage more driving and encourage more public transit use so it makes sense to get rid of the parking minimums. The space is public space and should be utilized for more things that are in the public good and not for the storage of private property.
I'm also in favor of some zoning changes and for more buildings whether they be luxury or affordable. Of course, I'd love for them to all be actual affordable apartments. But from what I've read over the years, even building luxury apartments will help everyone. Those that are well off need somewhere to live as well and if we give them quality apartments they're less likely to take more affordable apartments from those that need them.
And when it comes to zoning changes I'm a little more hesitant and want it to be more on a case by case basis. I don't want massive buildings overshadowing single family homes in a residential neighborhood. But there are plenty of other areas where we should be building larger and more densely populated areas.
I can go on about this for hours. I read about this every day as this is something talked about and being done here on a daily basis. There's always a fight between the NIMBYs and the YIMBYs over some new development.
