I watched that whole last episode like it was a horror movie. I think I said "No, what the fuck are you doing?!" about 4 times. I think he was legit having a small breakdown in that last scene, or else he's the greatest actor ever with those neck flares.
Whoever said there does actually seem to be something to The Fielder Method is probably right.
