I could see my SIL doing this. It is one reason I refuse to let them stay at our place at The Lake when we aren't there -- (edited)

My wife always says "oh no, she would never do that, she'd keep everything clean and tidy"
Me "you realize I've known her for almost 30 years right..."
(we helped her move in June and her house was worse than even my very low expectations)
