Rob and Ryan are discussing the possible consequences if things don’t work out. You can tell immediately from how Rob is talking that he’s concerned about the community’s perception of them, but Ryan instead responds about how they could end up losing money. Rob then brings up the community and how they don’t want to be perceived as villains.
From the very start, it’s obvious - and it’s actually laid out much more plainly just a few minutes later - that Rob’s in to help Wrexham and Ryan’s just his financial backer. I wonder what the ownership split is between the two of them. Let’s hope things go well as I’d hate for this to sour their friendship.
