Least likely scenario: I think everyone agrees that Trump had no hand in boxing up the documents, since his natural reaction to paper is to scribble on it and then tear it up like a toddler. He probably told staff "Just take it all" and the question is what were his plans for it.
Possible: We know Trump is certainly willing to sell anyone else's property for his own financial gain, but I don't think he actually had any plans to sell or give them to foreign leaders.
More likely: The thing Trump cares about more than money is impressing other people, so it makes the most sense that he intended to keep them for his Presidential Library and personal collection so he could show them off and brag to visitors.
Of course since he's an idiot and has no regard for chain of evidence or security, the info in the docs could easily be in the hands of foreign leaders as copies or summaries.
