The LIV Tour drama tonight is at 100. The word getting out about the recent jumps is wild.

Apparently Varner was talked out of joining the LIV tour months ago by Michael Jordan. Jordan (the brand) sponsors Varner, not Nike. Varner's amount to join LIV was on the much lower end of the spectrum, but the LIV folks really wanted him to add some additional diversity. Apparently they moved his offer to somewhere north of $50M where he couldn't refuse. Word is he's been told Jordan is gone as his sponsor, and will not be coming back.

Additionally, Horschel (who is very pro PGA Tour) said one of the LIV tour defectors spoke to him and made a comment about how "it's no big deal, we all know we'll be out of LIV and back on the PGA tour in 2-3 years." Apparently Horschel in no uncertain terms discussed how that absolutely isn't happening, and the defectors not only won't be allowed back, but there's a contingent of PGA Tour pros who will not play in tournaments with them.
