This is interesting in that it fails to mention (since it wasn't its focus) that the first to call for breaching the dams was Rep Mike Simpson (R-ID)

I've posted at least one article about this in the past. Simpson is in trouble with his own state party for daring to suggest a compromise which benefits the environment. Risch is being spineless, as usual.
