It didn't help that when it first happened there was absolutely no plan. That whole semester was basically a wash.

Attention span is a big issue. But there was also no accountability and the schools still had no clue what to do the following year. It was bad.

I feel really bad for the older kids getting ready to hopefully go in to college. My GF's oldest is 16. I have no idea how he will get accepted between grades and having zero extracurricular activities the last 2 years. Plus now he has changed schools and getting involved will be even harder.
