I mean I know thats the whole GOP thing (saying one thing and doing the opposite) but this just reeks of intentional sabotage.
(maybe the former guy truly knows more than we do and knows that he is truly fucked (even if we dont know yet) and just wants to burn it all down on Mitch in the Senate)
