It’s more likely that the Senate guys are all throwing shit against the wall so Lindsay is doing what he thinks is wise to exhort the base out

It’s fundamentally wrong but we see it all the time. You float a bad idea in the attempt to rally the base. The problem is this is legitimately a bad idea by about 20points.
Fucking Kansas smacked this shit down 60/40. It’s panicky people panicking because none of them are strategically smart. Mitch isn’t stupid. He’s not touching this with a 10ft pole.
