The Rolling Stones' late period began in 1994. No hidden classics in their later albums but at least they generally didn't get experimental.

On one or two of the albums they clearly tried rather than just throw something out so they could tour on it (and they had a minor rock hit in the late 90s where it turns out Mick unknowingly stole the melody from kd lang's "Constant Craving" so they retroactively gave her a songwriting credit.)
