I have an economist friend who’s an energy guy. he’s done the math and says rooftop solar has saved Perth 2-3 power plants.

Which would’ve been coal or gas. Like 1/3 of houses here have solar panels.

Still, I wish people hadn't been so against nuclear back in the 70s/80s. Would have been so much less emissions and they could be replaced with renews
