No. We're very Americanized. And, as a whole, they are wonderful people. Detroit vs. everyone attitude kinda seeps through and unites this whole area.

We got American TV and Superbowl commercials before it was cool.
For the bridge thing, yeah, it's definitely patronage influenced. Our hometown boy Dwight "Spanky" Duncan took over after the Libs gained control and kicked out the Conservative party hacks.
Government business at its finest.
