Not sure how the Mach-E is designed, but it may still have multiple control units which

Would make some things difficult to update over the air.
IIRC, the Munro teardown still showed a fair bit of parts bin engineering which does not lend itself to the kind of integration that Tesla currently has.
I expect Ford is working toward that. Not sure about some of the others, though.
