Every such list should be read with the assumption of recency bias.
I would be surprised if anyone working on such lists (possibly excepting the editor) is over 40. That makes them all born after 82. That was the year WKRP ended and Cheers started. MASH ended the next year. So most making thse lists have likely never seen entire runs of those shows or many others. They may have never seen an episode of All in the Family and it would be nearly impossible for them to watch WKRP episodes as originally aired, I believe. That doesn't even factor in that shows of that time were made for the audience of that time and with the technology of that time. Whereas current shows are made more for current audiences, lime people who make list articles for Rolling Stone.
