Hollywood didn’t have enough legit product so they reverted back to the old standby of September is a dog month.

Even historically, it’s been a weak month if not the weakest. They merely reverted to it.
Hell, a month ago, it wasn’t outlandish to think that TG2 or Avatar could sneak 2 weekends as the #1 movie in the nation because the release schedule looked so dreadful.
All the lulls in March 20-21 productions are hitting now.
