Posted my Logan thoughts over the weekend. Since then, I've come up with more questions and I like it less and less. -- (edited)
Just how the hell did all the other kids make it to Eden? Where did the nurse come up with that much money? Did the other kids have people helping them? She made it sound like it was unorganized and kids just scattered.
Did they build Eden? If they didn't, who did and where are they? If they didn't and it was just a lookout tower, did it just miraculously happen to be at the coordinates in a comic book?
If the agency was after Laura and was using ALL their resources including the super project X-24 to get her and just her back, then why weren't they more concerned about where she was when they were rounding everyone up?
And what was up with that approach? You know where they are going so you just chase them on foot through the woods?
And what was the big deal about the bad guy with the mechanical hand? His job was just to walk slowly and pick up a big gun every so often? What did he do other than that?
Would've preferred it if the movie was like Children of Men where Laura is the last mutant and Logan, dying is getting her to the mutant version of the Human project.
For me, it took sooooo much of the emotion out of it when, after the struggle and Charles and the family that helped them and everything they get to Eden and there are a dozen of the other kids already there making smores.
I liked it, but the more I think about the plot I like it less.
