Not *every* house IIRC, but yes they have 400 miles of canals. Read this to know learn more about Cape Coral, its history, its challenges -- (edited)

My cousin lives there...on a canal.

When my parents were first thinking of moving to Florida, I looked at houses on the Cape with my mom. It was 2008.
