They aren’t all the physical threats that BP is. Shuri is by far the weakest physical character in BP1. She is Q. She is not a hand to hand fighter.
It’s wasteful given they have M’Baku right there who is a brawler, and also a completely different aspect of the African Experience they could focus on rather than the continuation of T’Challa’s ideology/experience.
