Has anyone in sports ever had a better contract season than Aaron Judge? Much respect to the man. He bet it all on himself and delivered.

And he's more than just one of the best players on the field. He seems like a genuinely good person. I've heard him in interviews so many times and he always seems to say the right thing.
When he was asked about the HR ball and if he got it back. He said he hadn't and while he would like it he also said he knows it's a valuable souvenir for the fan who made a heck of a catch.
I love that while he ran the bases during this chase for the record he would always look to his mom and dad in the stands and he did it the whole way around yesterday.

It's a pleasure to root for him.
