Including crazy library whackadoos.
It's like "How is it possible that this dude is still out there being a whackadoo and getting up in my face? How can he not tell that the world has changed in a fundamental way?"
It's also such a weird thing when you've been living under that stretched to breaking feeling of stress and exhaustion for so long and suddenly the emotional rubber band just goes slack. It's hard to know how to be.
