No, but I’d be fine with it. Mix the same ingredients with a vinaigrette, it’s still a salad.

Put them on a baked potato, it’s still a loaded potato.
Where there’s eye rolling for me is where people are purporting to set a standard, like on GBBO or where it seems purely for marketing, “it’s not a taco, but let’s call it a taco because more people will buy it that way”
