Their big acquisitions were Daniel Vogelbach (he was fine), Darin Ruf (he sucked) and reliever Mychael Givens (he sucked).

I think they had the worst production out of the DH in the league, or at least towards the bottom. I'll have to check. Diaz had a ridiculous year but they could have shored up the bullpen with a better move and also failed to do that, as if they were just waiting for deGrom to get healthy, and that would be enough.
