Forty-somethings and teenagers have very different styles when it comes to playing D&D.

A friend of mine is running the same published campaign for his group of friends (us, the forty-somethings) and for his sons and their friends.

At one point in the campaign, the party has an opportunity -- nay, an obligation -- to capture a smuggler ship. This is how that went with the two groups.

Forty-somethings: Wow, our very own pirate, er, privateer ship! What a valuable resource! Think of all we can do with this!

Teenagers: Can we sink it?
