my god he admit it: "The business moved on [from exclusive theatrical exhibition]." Chapek's ceiling now is Marvel, Star Wars (if they even make more)

and Disney (not even Pixar) as theatrical first.
But that's just another way of starving exhibitors to the point that you eventually say "well, the model worked when there were enough moviegoers that it made sense to put a $300m movie in theaters but consumers have apparently moved on from that model so we are too"
