I'm all for scrambling things up. I've never seen the play and have zero baggage related to it for a couple of reasons

there sure seems to be a strain of artists who are *only* interested in their identity and how it's different from what they perceive as the mainstream. And, you know, get on with yourself, but "different" is not a synonym for "interesting".
