Where did the crab go? It's not strictly climate change to blame, but it allowing fishing in what used to be protected areas

In addition to shrinking areas where crabs could mature safe from predation.
Fishery mismanagement killed the King Crab population and has likely done the same to Snow Crabs

Responses:
they also cancelled King/Red crab this season. I know they also flourish off South America & Antartica, but have seen no news on how their numbers are -- nm
