B2 re voting against 'crazy' candidate of your own party or for a good one from the other: they still vote 98% party line so...

I mean we had a former sheriff, the guy who finally got the green river serial killer after he reopened the cases and got some DNA this time.

by all accounts he was a decent guy, but still, even in a die hard democratic district he voted against most things his citizens wanted, he voted strictly party line. As a sheriff he was for more gun control but voted against his own interests.

Walker might be 'ye' crazy but if you are repub then you'll probably want him instead of a decent and 'sane' pol because the demo will vote demo

the republicans will get rid of you, sponsor primary challenges if you go against

unfortunately demos are not able to keep their party in such a line.
