If this means that European wall lizards are not immune, that raises the possibility of Vancouver island black widows hunting them for food. Hmm.

The European ones were introduced a couple of decades ago when a reptile zoo shut down & released them (which is some bullshit). They've been thriving since then, at the expense of our existing alligator lizards.
