Russ made 650k in 2014 which was like 0.6% of the cap.

If you’re going to pay 20-25% of the cap, it better be Mahomes or Allen or even Lamar. There’s no others close to worth it.

Denver won with Peyton in spite of Peyton at that point. Brady always had a smaller cap figure than talent merited.
