We got my mom a samsung smart watch last year but it is more for if she falls

it has both fall detection (which doesn't work great) and a thing where if she taps the button on the watch 3 times it send me a text with her gps coordinates.
Hers is linked to her phone but you can get the watches with their own cell service.
I know Samsung also has a 'find my watch' thing but I think that you have to link the watch to your phone to do that. Not sure if they have a independent app that lets you find someone else's watch though
