if that's the case did they make it seem that Aemond One Eye was NOT really trying to kill little Lucerys?

Why did they try to make us empathize with child rapist Aegon?

Why did they make up some bullshit that it was because of a "misunderstanding" that caused Alicent to betray her husband wishes?
