Assuming that Lindsey is telling the truth about why he called the Georgia Secretary of State, I'd say the process has been fine.

Contrary to The Former Guy, he's asserting a legitimate legal issue and he's following the appropriate process.

That being said, I smell a rather strong whiff of desperation -- desperately striving to avoid having to disclose what that conversation was all about.
