When I was a kid we went to my aunt and uncle's house for Christmas Eve dinner. The Feast of the Seven Fishes!
Anyway, my uncle didn't have many movies that weren't John Wayne movies. I had/have no interest in his movies. But he did have Mr. Mom on VHS so my cousins and I ended up watching it every year for like 5-6 consecutive years.
We eventually stopped going there and when I got into my 20s I decided I wanted to make it a yearly tradition to remind me about those wonderful Christmas Eve nights with my family.
So, for at least 20 years or so now I've watched Mr. Mom on Christmas Eve. :-)
