A tree, a talking raccoon, a monotone wrestler, and they made just under 800mil worldwide.

I know you hate DC and Cena, but the reality is he's exactly not the stupid morose bullshit they've done for a decade and has shown success in projects that flat shouldn't have worked.

And there are a ton of reasons a reboot of Suicide Squad wouldn't work -- proximity to the original shit version, Covid-19, HBO Max simu-release....seems weird to pick out the one thing most easily explained.
